We started a council of accountability (and built an app)
Accountability partners who actually hold you accountable
I've tried every habit tracking app. Streaks, Habitica, Notion templates, you name it. They all have the same problem: no one cares if I break my streak except me. And I'm very good at letting myself off the hook.
What actually works is telling a friend about your goal and having them check in on you. But coordinating that manually is awkward. 'Hey, did you go to the gym today?' feels weird to send. And receiving it can feel like nagging.
What if accountability felt like support instead of surveillance?
Nudged makes it easy for friends to send encouraging 'nudges' about your goals. It's social pressure, but the good kind. You set the goals, your friends see your progress, and they can send a nudge when you need motivation. No awkward texts required.

Building genuine social accountability
The core nudge mechanic works. Now it's about making it sticky.
Group Goals
Shared goals where everyone's progress is visible. Train for a 5K together, even if you're miles apart.
Streak Challenges
Compete with friends on who can maintain the longest streak. Friendly competition drives consistency.
Smart Nudge Timing
AI learns when you typically complete goals and prompts friends to nudge at optimal times.
The loneliness epidemic is real. Nudged isn't just about hitting goals - it's about giving friends a low-friction way to show they care about each other's growth.
